Frampton Egg Roll

Every year my mom's family does a big competition that starts here:
dying eggs with our own families...

... Then on Easter Sunday we all get together and have the annual Egg Roll. We all bring our decorated hard boiled eggs and roll them against someone else's. The person with the uncracked egg moves on to the next round. 2014 was a sad year for the Rappleyes. We all got out in the first round.

Myla and Liam kind of kicked their eggs at each other, which was hilarious to watch.

After eating their egg, they played on the toys during the rest of the tournament... not caring about their losing status (I'm apparently still upset that not ONE of us made it past the first round!).

Easter Baskets

Easter morning, the Easter bunny came!

So excited about her loot.

Just barely found her basket and already trying to eat the candy

Each year, the girls get new swimsuits in their baskets for the upcoming summer.

The girls loved their swimsuits so much that they ate breakfast in them.

Easter Egg Hunts

Our girls were lucky enough to have a couple different Easter egg hunts. The Airhart girls had one in our back yard for our kids. Cambry and Vienna were the oldest and knew exactly what to do to get the loot. Poor little cousins that didn't understand what was happening before it was too late. We all had a great time.

Grandma Rappleye had a big easter egg hunt a few days later, and our girls were the littlest. Grandma is smarter than me and had all the eggs color coordinated for each person.
Here are all the egg hunters... and Lance.

Cambry and Vienna just adore their cousins Trevor and Sterling, and had so much fun running around the back yard with them.

Myla found tons of eggs! ;)

We're glad uncle Derek doesn't leave for his mission until September, so we'll have him all summer. He is so good with my girls.

Everyone checking out their loot, and collecting prizes if they found prize eggs. We've never been here with kids for Easter and had no idea how big of a deal this egg hunt is! Grandma knows how to make an egg hunt into a big party!

April Clean-Up

One night for FHE we acted out the story of Samuel the Lamanite. Cambry and Vienna took turns wearing their super hero capes and standing up on the wall while everyone else threw pine cones and leaves at them. A success in all our books.
Here's Cambry calling the people to repentance...

And Vienna

My brother Jamey (drummer) and cousin Dallin (guitar and vocals) played at a elementary school fund raiser, and we all went to suport.

Myla tolerated just fine the loud music

Cambry and Vienna were on the playground most of the time

Sad little goose after falling and hurting her knee... Also pictured is her "hitler mustache" that was so red from wiping her chronically runny nose.

V slept in until 9 am (that has NEVER happened) and woke up so giggly and happy. We also pulled the high chair out for Myla, and whenever she's not in it at meal times Vienna wants to be in it.

They made fast friends with this girl that brought chalk to the park.

We went for a little gander around the block- Cambry wanted to wear all blue ("except for my jacket, but that's purple and that's my favorite so its ok"). She realized halfway around the block that she wasn't wearing a helmet, and refused to get back on her bike.

Michelle, Jessica and I went for a walk with our 3 double wides and mess of kids. We took over the road completely.

Devin and I got a night out and went to Red Iguana and Handel's Messiah on Temple Square. I sure do love my time with this busy guy.

The Salt Lake Marathon route went close to our house, so we walked down the street and cheered the runners on for awhile. It was so awesome. I love being around the running community.

Myla is so dreamy. She is so content with her box of toys.

She started babbling and has so much to say!

Devin's little brother Derek opening his mission call. He's going to the Manchester New Hamshire mission. I love seeing all the technology recording the event and including family that live far away.
