Labor Day + Boating

It's me, Devin, for the first part of this post.

On Labor Day, I took Cambry and Vienna on hike with my parents, brother, sister and her family. Here, we all are at the beginning:

All the cousins. Will was obsessed with the goldfish and carried them all the way up.

Lily guarding the conniving troll, Ava.

We made it to the waterfall!

Once we made it to the falls, my Dad set up some ropes for repelling. It was so fun and gorgeous!

There goes my Bro.

My Dad has still got it.

And my sister too.

The kids found a little cave to play in on the way down.

That night, we went to the Beck and Greg's for a BBQ.

Joslyn now.

Cambry and I were the only healthy people in the household on this boating day. So we were lucky enough to head up to Jordanelle will Jamey &Michelle, Jordan & Margaret, Jess and their kids. It was so fun to be out on the water. We did some wake boarding, skiing, and tubing.  So fun to have some time with Cambry by herself.

It got a little chilly, so we all got to snuggle together.

The Meyers Visit!

The end of August our good friends Michael and Summer Meyers from North Carolina came to Salt Lake for Summer's sister's wedding reception, and we got to see them a few times.
We went to the reception, but everyone was too wiggly for a good pic. Here is Cambry's best friend Caroline

A few days later we got together again. We started with a tour at Devin's lab at the U of U, then went to Liberty Park. We just picked up right where we left off a year ago when we moved to Utah. They have 3 girls the same ages of our 3 girls- we were just meant to be friends!

Michael taught us about geocaching and we went on our first treasure hunt at liberty park. It was so good to walk and talk and catch up with these guys! It's been too long!

We came back to our house for dinner, so we could let the kids play, eat, and play some more while we could chat, eat, and chat even more.

Come back soon!!

August Clean-Up

Cambry and Vienna went to a new Dentist- Burg Pediatric Dentistry. Highly recommended for any kid. They got to wear costumes while they got their teeth cleaned. No cavities for either girl!
Look at those pearly whites!

Poor V is trying to keep her mouth wide enough and bite down hard enough for an x-ray.

They both did great during their cleanings. Cambers picked a zebra to tickle her teeth, Veena picked a giraffe. The heads of the uh... cleaner brush (what is that called) had different disposable animal heads.
So big!! After completely ignoring the stairs for months, she decided one day to crawl up them.

Princess fairy Cambry practicing her rollerskating

Gregger in his party shirt, ready for a good time!

Devin's first day of school- his second to last first day of school! Light at the end of the tunnel!

Myla is completely enthralled with animals. She squeals and can't take her eyes off them when they are around. She gave this dog a good pat down. Poor dog- she gives those to me all the time, and they are not soft!

Thanksgiving Point Gardens

The last week in August I headed down to Thanksgiving Point to visit the gorgeous gardens with Jess and her girls, Noelle and her kids, and my Mother-in-law. What a fun time! It was perfect weather, beautiful gardens, and plenty of open space for the kids to run around and explore.
Veena, Cambers, and Rylee all holding hands. Precious cousins

Myla scavenged some food from the picnic lunches

Sisters

Despite appearances, they really had a great time!
Vienna, Lily, Ava, Cambry, Will

me, Noelle, Cathy

love this ray of sunshine! Once in a while she lets me capture her genuine smile in a picture.

Cambry said, "Hey let's go run in that flower rainbow!"

Veena stood by her favorite horse on the merry go round

We were all enchanted by these waterfalls.

C, V and Will got to work throwing leaves, grass and rocks in the water. I broke off cat tails for them to paint the rocks. We could've been at this spot all day long.

The Rowe's are back!

After a couple years living in Australia, the Rowes moved back much sooner than we all were anticipating. Yay! We are so excited their in Utah again!! We got to meet little Sophia and kiss her delicious cheeks, and introduce Myla to them.

We played a lot while they were in South Jordan, before they moved to Logan. Here's one play date at our house.

Will loved going higher and faster in the front swing.

Cousin Karaoke

We had a swim party and dutch oven cook out at Grandma Ber's with the Rowes, Jorgensons, and Neal. Somehow this was the only pic we took of the whole evening!

Airhart Reunion: At the House

This house was so beautiful. We are so grateful to the Beck and Greg for their generosity in giving us this week here to be together, packed with so much fun.

Myla playing in the theater room. She LOVED the love sacs

The whole fam in our reunion shirts. Everyone was able to come except for Mertle and Jake.

Kids galore

One night we had a mean session of double dutch jump rope. I love my family- I love that men, women and children alike were all involved in giving it a whirl. It was such a great time.

Cambers and Veena dancing together. They are best friends.
