July up to date!!

We went to this cool Monastery in Eden with lots of the Rappleyes and heard the monks all chant.

I took Myla on a walk one evening and she was clapping and singing to herself the entire time. She seriously is such a delight.

Veena really wanted Myla to swing with her, so I let it happen. Myla loved it Veena hated it. Glad we scratched that itch.

I met my good friend from NC Elise and her kids at a splash pad. It was so great to catch up while our kids had a great time.

Myla loved this balloon, and whenever Veena wasn't looking, Myla would sneakily army crawl over to it and wrap all her extremities around it, followed by a meltdown from Veena. Great afternoon entertainment.

Baby area during Sunday school was pretty happening last Sunday.

Myla was feeling it, like a true Southerner, with all the clapping and whoopin' and hollerin.

Jordan and Margaret came over for Sunday dinner and showed us all their Ireland pics. This is the only pic we have to document the event. Good thing Gweny and Myla are such cute cousins.

This water table is never ending fun. So glad we made room for it in the truck when we moved back.

M happy as can be in the clubhouse with her stick.

This is serious talent. In one had she's sucking her hook. With the other hand she's playing with her hair. Her 2 comfort items are attached to her head. Lucky her.

Cambers working her magic again, getting Myla laughing.

Yesterday we took another trip to Raging Waters. This cute 90 year old woman down the street gave C and V sun hats on Sunday, and they have been on their heads the majority of the time since (even in the wave pool and buckled in their car seats).

Tonight was Devin's uncle Al's 60th birthday party up Provo Canyon. The invite was a pic of his face with Superman's body. So Cambry decided that we're going to a Super hero's party, and added her super cape to her princess get up.

Independence Day!

July 4th, I woke up early and went for a great long run. I came home to 3 beauties and one beau ready to go to the neighborhood breakfast and parade. We at a hearty meal with friends, and decorated our wagon so patriotic.

For some reason when the parade started, all the other kids were off somewhere else, and Devin was the only one in the parade. We all had a good laugh.

Love these little patriotic flip flops (and delicious thighs). Myla isn't used to wearing shoes, and kept kicking them off.

The next adventure was Raging Waters, and it was so fun and really crowded at first, and thinned out shortly after we started playing for some reason.

Devin took the girls down a tube slide, and they loved it until the bottom when they fell off.

My favorite part was Myla got so tired that she fell asleep on me. This hasn't happened since she was about a month old, so it was a special treat.

That evening we took a picnic dinner to downtown Holladay with some friends and family.
C and V doing somersaults.

M loves real food and will gnaw on whatever she can get her mouth on.

C and V playing with Grandpa Greg

Hike!

V dancing to the great music- Peter Breinholt performed. Also, that Korean woman (Youngin) is visiting Devin's department right now- it's her first time outside of Korea. We showed her a good American time, and she is learning how to throw/catch a football with our friend's 2 year old.

We had a fun game of Kub going on.

Jess brought the bubble machine which was a huge hit with the kids

Veena and Rylee resting on the cooler with their animals

We still can't get over how beautiful these mountains are

At dusk we lit the sparklers, and Cambry was brave enough to try them out this year.

The fam + Youngin. Youngin seriously was the best. She was like a 5 year old kid as she was experiencing everything from an outdoor concert to sparklers, to Frisbee to the firework show for the first time. During the firework show, she said to Devin: "I feel like I'm in space."

After the first couple of booms of fireworks, Cambry and Myla really enjoyed it. Veena spent the whole of it plugging her ears and snuggled up to Devin, mostly with her head in his chest.

It's amazing that such a little city can put on such a great firework show!

Cambry snuggled Devin or Grandpa Greg at the really exciting/loud parts. Veena kept up this position.

Myla gave me another gift of snuggling extra close to me as we watched. This whole day was perfect. Happy Independence Day!
