General Conference

Conference weekend was pretty amazing. So many messages that were just what I needed to hear. Cambry and Vienna did better than they ever had. We did a little muffin cup of snacks for every new speaker. Lots of times they were more concerned about which snack they were going to pick next, but they were at least quieter and stayed in the TV room longer.
At the songs, we stood up and led the music with the super long ice cream spoons (you can't see them since their hands are moving so fast).

Vienna unpacked the church bag in the front closet and read herself books for awhile...in the closet.

And my favorite part- during Sunday afternoon session, V fell asleep on me, she was only a couple months old last time she did this. What a treat! Good thing I can listen later.

Temple Square

During General Conference, every time they showed Temple Square, Cambry said that she wanted to see the flowers. So naturally, a few days later we brought a picnic and we scoped out Temple Square with Grandma Beck and Jess

I took a dozen pics here, but couldn't get them all looking. Love all these pics together showing my attempts.

Cambry found something to climb

Cambers was so excited about this field with all these blossoms falling like snow from the trees. She was running around trying to catch one and actually caught one!

 The whole crew

Happy Myla. She loved the grass on her toes and fingers.

They LOVED playing in the reflecting pool. Cambry kept saying, "Some day Daddy is going to marry me here." Veena piped in with "Me too".

March Madness

Cambry got her self ready to save the day

We visited Devin's lab with this new glove box that he gets to stick his hands in those big gloves and do experiments inside. He is so excited about it.

They're happy to be outside without coats, and on their bikes. Spring is so great in Utah. You never know what weather you'll get.

Vienna had a week where she kept climbing in this bouncer. She'd yell for me to get her out. After repeatedly telling her to stop climbing in here, I finally just left her in there for awhile. She cried and screamed, but it cured her of getting in there!

When Myla wakes up from naps, Cambry and Vienna climb the stairs as fast of their little legs will take them and burst into Myla's room and hurdle the crib rail to snuggle their little baby. Myla squeals with delight, and they all play in the crib for a good 5-10 minutes.

Remnants of Sunday breakfast dinner at the Beck and Greg's house. So fun, so many people.

Grandma Rappleye gave C and V these cool clover glasses that light up. Cambry LOVED them, but wouldn't let me take a pic of her with them on.

Cambers reading to Vienna. These girls are two peas in a pod.

Uncle Jamey and Devin got my parents trampoline set up in our back yard and our kids all love jumping on it. We had a snow storm, and the girls were still determined to jump.

During the storm, Devin, Cambry and Vienna made this family of snowman. Vienna insisted on a baby. Then Cambry decided that there needed to be a Cambry and Vienna snowman as well. Cambry was too cold to stay out for a picture. So, its just Vienna.

Myla and I suited up too, although we stayed off the tramp.

Vienna said "ME. HAPPY!" as she jumped. Ok, it made 20 minutes of wardrobing worth it.

After lunch, the snow was melted and they were back for more. Yes I left them in their pajamas all day. (I guess Google decided to chop off Cambry's legs in this picture and give her new ones).

One day the girls wanted to play naps. I was so tired, So we headed up to my bed. I was so tired I was hoping a nap would really happen. Wishful thinking.

After a weekend of sleep training Myla to sleep through the night, Devin collapsed on the couch after church. He was out! The girls wanted to make sure he had a successful nap, so they shared blankets, stuffed animals and toys to create a good napping environment. Cambry said, "Daddy's going to be so happy when he wakes up!" I love the way she thinks!

I was watching Devin help Vienna read her verse of scripture, and was just overcome with love for my family. Thankfully the camera was right there that I'm able to have this moment forever now.

Not sure how this happened, but I walked into the room to see these gems sitting like this.

One warm day we went to the park by the horse pastures. Cambry surprised me by getting so close to them- touching them and feeding them.

Vienna snuggling up to Aunt Michelle to play with her hair.

V took about 30 selfies with my phone. All looking like this. hahaha
We tried out bowling again with about the same results. Cambry bowled once, Vienna about 5 times, and Myla just happy to be along for the ride. Devin and I had a great time.

Spring Break

At the beginning of March, I had my spring break. I had some work that I wanted to get done over the break. Surprisingly, it took me a lot less time than I thought it would (almost always the opposite holds). Joslyn's good friend Steph invited us to stay in a home down in St. George for the week. So, we packed our bags and head down south to St. George on Thursday for a long weekend.

The girls loved being able to ride their bikes in the warm weather.

They gathered plenty of rocks on their rides.

There were some sweet parks in the area too. Unfortunately, this is the only picture that we got at the park. We were too busy chatting it up with our good friends Steph and Braden.

(Joslyn writing now) We headed up Snow Canyon to the Sand Dunes. V fell asleep in the car ride so Devin and C went exploring for a bit on the red rock boulders.

We all went to the sand dunes and had a blast. Cambry and Vienna didn't come up for air for hours, they were so busy playing around "at the beach" as Cambry kept saying. When we packed, we couldn't get past the fact that it was really cold in SLC, so we're all dressed for much colder weather.

My babes enjoying themselves.

Naturally the girls made new friends in .5 seconds.

After spending all morning at the dunes, we picnicked then headed up Jenny's slot canyon for more bouldering and hiking.

Devin took the girls up to explore all the little caves and fox holes. They both had a great time, but Cambry especially felt like she had died and gone to heaven. This is the best we could do for a family photo.

Cambry was so exhausted she was sobbing uncontrollably, and Devin was helping.

We shortened our trip so we could be at the Salt Lake Temple Saturday morning. My brother Jarom and wife Cristy have 5 beautiful kids and they adopted the darling dark haired boy Tommy, and had him sealed to their family. It was such a beautiful experience to see all the kids file into the sealing room wearing white. So glad we got to attend! Families are forever!
