Myla turned 6 months on March 11th. She's the star of the show in our house so much of the time. We really all are smitten by her, and the fact that she doesn't cry very much, allows the girls to man handle her (snuggle her)
She decided one day she wanted to sit up. She doesn't roll over, but she is as sturdy as a tree sitting up, and as happy as a can be with a spread of toys in front of her.
At her 6 month check up her Dr reported that she's perfectly healthy and just a little bit above average in height and weight.
This shocked me so badly how big my baby is with her little pony tail, and playing with the big girls. Stop growing!
Vienna paused while getting ready for church to indoctrinate Myla on the truthfulness of fairies.
After baths I couldn't get enough of her, I needed some more snuggles.
I've decided since Cambry fed Vienna, its a right of passage for the older sisters to feed the younger one once they start eating solids. Turns out everyone enjoyed the experience, and Cambry and Vienna feed her on a regular basis.
Vienna insisting on a Myla snuggle. Myla giggled so hard and Vienna was in heaven.
Myla, you are loved so much. You are such a blessing in our family. You are a bright ray of sunshine to all of us.

Brilliant idea to employ your other kids to feed the baby...I always hate spoon feeding the baby, I try my best to skip that step. But this time around I'll just make it a Lily and Ava job. :) Can't believe she is already 6 months! She gets more and more gorgeous with time! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I'd agree with it being a brilliant idea. I'd say it's a brave idea! I never was that brave. But I'm sure all your girl's do a great job of it, and Lily and Ava will too!
