Cambry's Birthday

We love our little caring, thoughtful, literal, happy responsible, 5 year old!
Cambers was so excited to eat her Birthday cereal she picked out. Naturally she shared with her sisters.

Cambers got her new bike for her Birthday and was so happy to have a bigger princess bike. She loves thsi new freedom she feels from riding 2 wheels. (update: even in mid-June, every time Vienna prays she says thank you that Cambry can ride her bike with no training wheels. We're still really proud of her around here).

The girls and I met Devin on campus and had a picnic for her birthday lunch. They loved taking turns eating and playing under this tree.

Myla went ahead and found the gold ribbon and started decorating for me, stringing it all over the kitchen and front room. That kid is so busy!!!

We had the grandparents and aunt Sara and uncle Neal over for Birthday dinner, dessert, and presents. What a simple fun time we had!

I found a chinese birthday candle flame that Grandma Ber brought back from China, when I was cleaning out my parents' house. Not only does it have a huge flame, it sings happy birthday over and over and over until the battery dies or it gets smashed. We had a good time with that... for days...

Happy Birthday Cambry girl! We love you dearly, and are so happy you're in our family.

Cinco De Mayo

The girls and I made our second annual pinata for Cinco de Mayo. We started our paper mache a few days before. Cambry and Vienna loved the gooey mess so much, we put a few extra layers on to fill their need to create.

May 4th, we did some finger painting

I had Myla paint the house with water so she wouldn't get into the paints, then the other girls wanted to get in on the fun too. What cheap thrills we have going on at our house! haha

We had our friends over (the Wards and Ainas) on May 5th for dessert and snacks and of course to break the pinata! Devin and I forgot to take pictures till the end... look how all 3 of our girls are lined up exactly behind the pinata!! hahaha.

Our extra layers of paper mache made the fun go on for a good amount of time. The kids were so happy they each got a few turns to give it a good whack.

Lagoon, Birthday Party & Temple

At the end of April our family got season passes to Utah's amusement park: Lagoon. We are having such a great time going for a couple hours here and there. The girls are in their happy place when we come here.

This day after we went to Lagoon for a couple hours in the morning, we headed up to Logan for our niece Ava's birthday party. Fortunately Myla slept in the car.

The Rowe's have the coolest tree in their back yard. It is a kid haven.

Myla and Sofie enjoying a little cousin wagon ride.

All the kids wanted a turn and took turns pulling each other.

On the way back home we stopped by the new Brigham City Temple and walked around the grounds.

The Great Salt Lake

The beginning of May I took the girls with some friends to the Great Salt Lake beach. It was early enough the bugs weren't out yet, and the weather was perfect. We had so much fun basking in the sun and playing in the sand. This is the first time I've been out here! I can't figure out why when it is seriously so much fun!

Steph and Emry

End of April

After a dip in the tub Vienna got herself dressed. She thought she was hilarious... of course she is right.

After we laughed so hard, Cambry gave panty head a whirl too.

We're still not used to 1pm church and we're ready to go at 10:30. So we got on little excursions Sunday morning. Temple Square is a favorite.

One Sunday Devin was out of town and I was worried about Sacrament meeting. We are usually a circus, and it takes Devin and I both to keep Myla from running wild. This Sunday Cambry and Vienna both sat on Patty, their old nursery leader's lap for most of sacrament.

I love Veen'as outfits she chooses for herself. The more patterns the better (not pictured green stiped socks and red jelly shoes.

Cambry and Vienna decided they wanted to run through the sprinklers at 8 am. They got in their swim suits and as they got outside, they decided it was too cold, so naturally they ran through them with their winter coats on.

Myla wanted to get in on the fun too. Haha she just kept putting more swim suits on. haha. She has one of Cambry's as a skirt.

Two Wheels

One evening, I took the girls over to my parents house to try to ride on two wheels. My dad has the old Schwinn that I learned. He says it is the easiest bike to learn to ride with no training wheels.

This photo just capture Vienna's beauty so well!

She's doing it. She's riding on two wheels!

Giving it another try.

Teaching Vienna not to lean on her training wheels

And Vienna is on two wheels as well

On her own again.

Letting her go free.

Still leaning on the training wheels

Of course, Myla wouldn't allow herself to be left out.

They both rode by themselves for a couple seconds, but continued to tilt to one side or another. Cambry was close and would do it all on her own a couple days before her birthday.
