Every Day Life

Here are just things I wanted to remember: like Cambry's quiet time- on my bed with the tablet, sitting with her legs in a "W", with no pants on.

My dear friend Steph recently had a baby, and I got to hold Emery when she was only a few days old. I already forgot how little they come!!

Cambers eating a snack, and said, "Hey, "D" is for Daddy."

M loves bath time so much and I feel like I need a slicker on to bathe her since she is so splashy!

Cambers and Vienna love washing her, and watching her kick in the water. They cheer her on saying "Go Myla Go! Go Myla Go!" (ps this pic gave me so much anxiety being that far from M in the water, but I'm so glad I captured her fan club/my little helpers).

Cambry teaching Myla how to play the piano.

Grandma Ber came over for dinner, and brought the cutest snowman book to read the girls. They loved every minute of it, and we loved having her cheerful self in our home.

I found this on the piano one morning after Vienna was hard at work.

Slap happy after church, even after missing naps.

morning snuggles.

So happy, just because.

Old Testament Sunday School is difficult to sit through, isn't it Myla!

This is how Myla sleeps- in her little bassinet, with a blanket half over her face.

Cambry's first day of primary. She loves this purple princess dress, and wants to wear it every week with this sweater on- with every button buttoned all the way up. She was so excited for primary, and is so shy she won't talk to either of her teachers, but loves it all the same. She listens intently, and tells us all the things she's learned, and the songs she sang... or listened to while others sang.

Cousins! All born in 2013: Gwenyth in May, Myla in September, and Andrew on Christmas day!

Bowling

MLK day we took the fam bowling for the first time. Man! Those balls are heavy for little kids! C and V got their ball going like 2 miles and hour, and they loved watching the ball travel slowly down the lane.

Seriously!? I thought about it, and this ball was 1/4 her weight! What a buff girl!

We got through about 3 rounds before Cambry decided that she would drop the ball on the lane, then go kick it to speed it up. She stepped out there on the slick lane and landed on her back. She bowled once more, then opted to sit the bench the rest of the afternoon.

Great form!! ;)

V had so many adventures, climbing on all these different surfaces she's never explored before. How great is it to be a kid!?!

Myla had a great time exploring with her eyes. What a darling little sight seer.

I look over at Vienna after I took Myla out of her carseat and Vienna completely took over, imitating Myla the best she could... and completely pleased with herself.

What a great party we are! I'm so glad we enjoy each other so much (most of the time;)).

Oh What Do You Do in the Wintertime

We've found some great things to do to keep us happy in the cold.
We went to the Olympic Oval for the speed skating trials. It was pretty awesome being on the front row and watching them fly by us! They are so fast!!! We sat by a family of 30 people all cheering on their son/brother/cousin, etc It was great to join their cause and become Alex Hoppin's fan too (unfortunately he didn't make the team)

There's our guy!

My mom's side of the family has a fantastic Christmas party on New Year's Day. Here are a few pics from it:

Grandma Ber

Aunt Margaret and Cambers singing the tunes

I took Cambry and Vienna to the Lion's club one Saturday afternoon and we had so much fun splashing around.

Yes, we've hit up Toys-R-Us a few time and played on their toys. We get wiggles out, play on new toys, and don't have huge messes to clean up. Its a win win for all of us.

C and V's bikes live in the yoga studio's basement and we have great times every week over there. This time we made big towers with Grandma Beck's cups for the girls to ride their bikes through.

Wiggle time at the library, including music to dance with scarves,  shake with maracas, and twirl with stuffed animals. At the end was building time, and that's the only time I brought my camera out cause we were all way too busy dancing before (note: another day where I had to bite my tongue and just say good job dressing yourself Cambry. Isn't independence fantastic?).

Trafalga

We had family day with the Rappleyes at Trafalga and had a blast. We had a million tokens that were about to expire, and played all our favorites several times. Here's Cambry playing air hockey with Neal, McKall and Veena cheering her on.

The girls rode the frog hopper ride. Cambry thought it was amazing. Vienna...

... Not so much. Excuse the blur, but her face was priceless.

Cambry happily rode it several times, much to our surprise. This girl is scared of her shadow!

Vienna was much more comfortable cheering from the ground

I've never seen mini bowling, but this was hilarious, and they really enjoyed it.

We did some mini golfing... kind of. The girs didn't quite grasp the concept of it. Vienna kept picking up our putted balls and bringing them back to us. She's so good at returning belongings to their rightful owners. Cambry was great and used her putter to just guide her ball- like one continuous stroke from start to finish.

Neal and McKall were good sports and helping them and putting up with their way of playing.

Despite this drunken face, the play place was actually Cambry's hot spot where she would've spent the whole evening, had we not made her come out. Great memories created at Trafalga!
