Easter Egg Hunt

The Saturday before Easter, we had lots of friends over for an Easter egg hunt.  While all the men hid the eggs around our yard, the moms supervised the kids decorating their bunny sugar cookie.

Here are as many of the kids as we could get to stand over here pre-hunt. The really serious seekers slithered out the front door during this pic to start hunting.

Cambers really got in to it this time around and was so excited there were SOO many eggs to find.

At first Vienna was satisfied to find one egg, but when she ate all that candy...

...she hurried to find more

After every egg discovery, she cheered for herself. What a dear.

More hunters

With so many kids around, you had to be quick or else someone would grab the egg before you.

Afterwards we had a delicious lunch and the weather was absolutely perfect 72 degrees.

The party was an absolute success and we'll do it again next year!

  3. A great Rappleye (and maybe Airhart?) tradition being passed along to the next generation! I love your backyard! It's amazing how much it looks like you live in the forest! Reminds me of Seattle a lot.
