Trip to St. George

The weekend before the semester started. Our good friends invited us down to St. George. 2 out of the 3 girls were great on the drive down. The other one just wanted to stand up and walk around, but just cried about being strapped in her carseat.

The next day, we went into Zions.

Finally, out walking with no boundaries

We all got a little teary-eyed at weeping rock.

And this is why, gorgeous view!

We stopped and had lunch at Zion's lodge. The great lawn was perfect for doing tricks.

We found our own little Angel landing.

Such a happy day. I sure do love this gal and appreciate her love for the outdoors.

Since Zions was basically abondoned, the wildlife had no problem trotting right out in front of us. Myla was so sad when the deer left the trail and kept trying to walk down to them.

The girls love that Zions is a giant sandbox!

This log was big hit. I think the girls called it a rainbow bridge.

Even little Emery got a kick out of crossing the "rainbow bridge."

So, I look extra chubby in this picture, but I assure you that Joslyn is just that slender.

How great is this? Playing on a playground in the middle of JANUARY. What a dream.

Something like this is bound to happen when you get these two together. Amazing!

Then somehow they convinced us all to try it. Poor Braden. I think he got the short end of the stick.

Myla loved this Panda seat and would just keep coming back to it.

Tubby Time!

The kids really just loved being able to go outside and play and not freeze.

The last day there, we went down to Pioneer park and let the kids climb all over the red rock

Seems like I've seen this in a Mormon Ad

The fam. The girls were quite happy until it was time to pose for a picture. The girls loved climbing up that sliver of a canyon behind us.

Top View of the girls climbing out of that tiny crack in the family picture. There was one point where I practically hyperventilated because my chest was squeezed so tight.

View from the top. Vienna was done with picture at this point.

A Myla-sized cave.

Peek-a-boo

They did it, climbed to the top of the highest "castle tower"

After all the climbing, the girls passed out, the rain started pouring and we started driving home. Perfect timing!
