Noelle and I signed up for the Ogden Marathon all the way back in October. I quickly found as I continued to train for it, that my body was tired. I didn't train very hard for this one, but I was still excited to do this. We got bussed up Ogden Canyon and dropped off 90 minutes before the race started... and it was FREEZING!! It even started lightly snowing while we waited.
About 5 miles in it started raining, and it never stopped the entire race. It was still a great time and I really enjoyed running next to Noelle and being among all the other crazies racing in the rain.
I am quite impressed with this photo, if I do say so myself. This was at mile 19- who knew I still had that much left in me to perform for the camera?! haha good times.
Devin came to support us at the end of the race. The finish line was just a couple blocks from the gorgeous Ogden Temple!
We did it! We didn't break any records but we were super happy to finish. We came in at 4:09
Hahahahaha! Everything about this race makes me laugh!!! How we both didn't really want to do it, but I went all crazy and signed up before you could say you didn't want to do it!! I still feel bad about that by the way! But it really was a great experience and I'm sure glad you did it with me!! Sorry about my face, well in most of the pictures, but mostly in your heel click photo. I was impressed I promise, my face just doesn't really show it!
