Daddy-Daughter Campout

Our girls LOVE camping. So do I, but it takes a lot of effort and about a week to recover. By the beginning of July, it was definitely time to put in the effort for a camping trip. Plus, it was super hot down in the valley. So, I drove up with Cambry and Vienna to the Unitas to find a camping spot, while Joslyn and Myla stayed home because Joslyn was sick and I would go insane with all three camping, to be honest.

It was tough going setting up camp until I got these three cooking their hot dogs. Then they were loving life.

After dinner, we went exploring and played in the Provo river.

This tree was our outhouse by our camp. It offered great cover.

A pre-bedtime selfie. (Side Note: I asked Vienna what her favorite thing about camping was and she immediately said "Sleeping". Ha!)

The camp.

I stayed up and read a book under this beautiful sky and got eaten alive by mosiquotos, but it was worth it. So beautiful.

We explored the mirror scienic byway the next morning. The girls loved wading in the lake.

Me: Hey, could you take our picture?
Stranger: Sure, where would you like it?
Me: Over here with the mountains in the background
Stranger: Oh yeah that is beautiful

What the? That was the photo that the stranger took. Haha.

The girls picked these beautiful flowers for Joslyn. I knew that they wouldn't last. So, I took a pic.

Provo falls.

This place was super fun. The water was low enough that we could climb the rocks around and in the falls. The girls thought it was so great to climb up a river.

This is about how all of us felt after the trip. It was super fun, but exhausting.

Meanwhile, Joslyn took our little motor to Lagoon. Look at that cute little sweaty head.
