Dyeing Easter Eggs

Friday night before Easter we dyed our Easter Eggs. Cambry loved putting the little coloring tablets into the vinegar. (See my baby pooch?)

Cambers was a good sister and let Vienna drop one tablet in a cup.

Let the dying begin!

We had a hard time grasping the fragility concept, and had 3 out of 12 eggs that WEREN'T broken.

Vienna was positive that these eggs were edible, and kept biting them, shell and all

Once the shell was off, she wasn't too impressed.

Cambers on the other hand, couldn't get enough of them. (Slight tangent- all of a sudden this girl EATS!! And not just grains and dairy! She pulls a chair up to the counter every afternoon when I'm slicing up veggies and eats about 1/3 of them.  Her favorites are bell peppers, cucumbers, and snap peas. I love this appetite she finally has!). As a whole, this was a fun family event.

  1. Love it! Will was the same as Vienna with the eggs we did. He kept trying to eat them until the shell was off, then he would just mash them into a terrible mess! I didn't let Will participate in the actual egg dying, he is too much of a nuisance! So good on ya, Joslyn, for letting both girls take part! :)
