Gaurdsman Pass

The last weekend in September we took a drive up through Guardsman's Pass to see the leaves changing colors. It was beautiful. Here are the girls taking it all in (Cambry wearing one of her ever present princess costumes)

It was super windy up on the ridge, where we planned to have our picnic lunch, so we improvised and had it in the back of the van. It was great- nice and warm, and still able to see all the beautiful scenery. And the girls actually ate since they couldn't be constantly running around.

Myla all snuggled in and happy to be along for the ride.

We pulled off to the side to explore the wide open spaces.

We decided to take out the covered wagon to make our experience a little more authentic... Ok we just found this while frolicking in the wild.

The girls capped off the experience by enjoying a little pow wow in the teepee.

  1. Awww, that first pic of your girls taking in the view is so darling I could die! Love Cambry's little arm around Vienna. :)
