Peaches and Parks

On Vienna's birthday, I started the day by taking Cambry and Vienna to my parents' house to pick peaches. My parents were out of town, so it was just us in the backyard.

They had a fun time exploring  and finding fruit in "the jungle."

They were both good pickers. Cambry was very particular about what peaches went into the basket. Vienna made sure that each peach was clean. By look on Vienna's face, you can tell that peach needed to be cleaned.

The girls' favorite part about picking fruit is eating it right off the tree/vine/bush or whatever.

We stopped by Murray park on the way home. I kept seeing it while at the hospital and remembered how beautiful of a park it was.

Vienna loved this fat little swing. What a loaf!

Snack Break.

The girls worked up the courage to try these spiny seats out. They liked it until they realized they just kept speeding up.

They loved throwing leaves off the bridge into the creek. Cambry is off running to get some more.

Vienna realized that she didn't have to run anywhere to get something to throw in the creek and began to throw her goldfish into the creek.

Grandma Ber called while we were there and sang happy birthday to Vienna.

  2. Good seeing the girls enjoying the peaches. Hopefully they will remember good times picking peaches at grandma and grandpa's house. And next year we will try to me in town! I sure wish we still had some of those fresh peaches!
