Ice Castle

On Monday, we took a trip up to Midway to see the ice castles and they were beautiful.

Cambry and Vienna were a little unsure at first. A guy dressed up in armor (there were all sorts of goofy photo shoots going on up there) sort of scared them.

Myla, of course, was happy to be along for the ride

Then we discovered this ice tunnel. Joslyn and Vienna went up.

Along with me and Cambry

Little did we know that the way back down was this miniaturized ice slide. We plugged the whole thing up squeezing our adult-sized selves down the slide and popping out behind us was a hoard of kids

Cambry LOVED the slide while Veena was less enthused, but happy to watch for her sister to come down.

Our little ice gnome

It only took her a minute to turn grumpy. What? You don't like be wedged into an icy crevasse

Vienna was so happy about all the free "popsicles" hanging around.

Wouldn't even stop licking that thing for a picture.

This was our Christmas present to the Beck and Greg. We loved having them with us.

Such a regal ice queen!

Tickling the icy ivories. Such a pro!

Donuts from the grandparents afterwards. Grandmas and Grandpas are the best!
