Myla's Crib is her reset butten. She can be having a rough time, and we set her in here with some toys, books, dolls, and she can play for 20-60 minutes without asking to get out.
Their snacks were camping. The strawberries had ham and cheese sleeping bags, sleeping out under the stars. Vienna makes everything a toy. After about 10 minutes of playing with snacks, Cambry usually says- lets have our food be food now and lets eat it.
The neighbor's puppies are getting huge and rowdy. We've had lots of giggles with these pups.
Myla won't keep elastics in her hair and her hair grows straight forward.. So after 3 straight weeks of a runny nose and her hair stuck up her nostrils, I snapped. I gave her some snacks, and chopped her bangs with the kitchen shears. She didn't hold still long enough to even them up, but she looks so much better!!
Cambry and Vienna were so excited to clean the church with Daddy. What good helpers they are!
My kids' favorite kind of dog... a fake one.
Devin's bubble brainstorm chart for writing his PhD dissertation.
Myla's favorite things to do right now are putting things on her head, trying on all shoes, and stirring.
Hey, look we have babies in our tummies!
Poor Devin during allergy season! A wet cloth at the end of the day seemed to help.
Several times a day, Myla pulls this chicken broth out of the fridge, opens it, and makes this face. I laugh so hard with this crazy girl.
I set the bassinet up for Cambry's baby dolls, and lately Myla will climb into it and rest for 10 second increments.
It snowed all night one night and we woke up to several inches of snow. We spent all morning making a snow man, sledding, making snow angels, throwing snow balls, and giggling at Myla trying to walk in her puff ball suit. Luckily we didn't procrastinate, the snow was completely gone by late afternoon!!
One more of the snow puff
Excuse this icky pic. The Salt Lake Marathon course went through our neighborhood. I ran 15 miles on the course and partook of their water, gatorade, gu, and cheers. It was fantastic!! I got so excited for next month's marathon
Devin and the girls cheered the runners on at our neighbor's house.
One morning I heard these guys upstairs giggling so hard. They came practically falling down the stairs wearing Devin's shirts and shoes. Vienna said to me, "We are Daddy and we are going to work. Goodbye." They giggle waddled themselves away. I love how much they laugh. It makes me think- with all my shortcomings as a mother, they are still having an innocent happy childhood.
Veena didn't want me to brush her hair, so she hid under the chair. This girl hates her hair brushed!!
Myla loved being at the big table for Sunday dinner. If only she could stay sitting, and not climb on the table this could happen more.
FHE we did a President Uchtdorf's patience talk- where he talked about kids being given a marshmallow. If they don't eat it after 10 minutes, then they could have 2. We tried it out with cookies... and they both waited and got two! Myla naturally devoured hers immediately
This girl is the queen of slides. She gets on auto pilot at the park where she doesn't see anyone or anything else- just up the stairs/ladder, and down the slide.
C and V chased the geese around at Wheeler farm. A woman said to them- Oh don't chase the geese. I said to her- Why?? She said- Oh. Because it's rude! I told her, I figure it's survival of the fittest. She looked me up and down and said, "Typical." ha!
All aboard the animal train!

I was busting up at the Cambry and Vienna having babies picture! And that one of Myla at the big table is too cute!!
