Whenever I passed Frampton Cleaners as a kid, I loved seeing him with his white hair and green visor at the back window working away with the chemicals, getting those impossible spots out of people's clothes. When I visited him, he always smelled like soaps and vinegar. Going swimming at his house every summer. Whenever I saw him, he was working in the yard, fixing/improving something while we swam. Once in awhile when we'd go over for an evening swim, he would jump in too in his short shorts swimsuit that I always thought was as old as him. I was astonished how his long skinny legs were so white they glowed. At a Lake Powell family reunion, he let Grandma dress him in all Florescent colors every day to match her. He took me out on his Jet Ski and even let me steer and go too fast.
When I was 16 years old he was serving a full time mission in the New Jersey, Morristown mission, and I got to visit for a week. I lived with a pair of sister missionaries and got to see what it was like to serve the Lord full time- HARD. On the last day, We fasted and prayed and Grandpa gave me my Patriarchal Blessing. I will always cherish the first words of my blessing starting, "My dear Granddaughter Joslyn.."
When I got engaged to Devin, I asked him if he would marry us in the Timpanogos Temple. His memory wasn't as good as it used to be, but he agreed to it. He studied and practiced for weeks, while I picked out flowers, napkins, and bridesmaids dresses. On our wedding day, as I knelt across the altar from Devin, I could feel the powerful spirit that Grandpa Fuddy brought into our sealing. He stumbled over his words a few times, but to me that made it more special because I knew it wasn't as easy for him as it used to be.
I love you Grandpa Fudd, and I'm looking forward to seeing you again someday.

His sweetheart wife was at his side as she has been for 65 years since they were 15 year olds 'going steady'. He will be sorely missed but his legacy of kindness, hard work, humor and testimony will live on in his posterity, whose lives will continue to be blessed by this good man. What a nice tribute! So sorry you couldn't come out! I got a text at like 6:30 this morning and I thought who could be texting me so early? I thought maybe you had had your baby! But I'm sure she is spending some quality time with Grandpa Fudd before she arrives here on earth! Love you!
