We have a whole new life here in the Rappleye household
Vienna Jean coming home from the hospital
Cambry is keeping a close eye on Vienna trying to decide if she likes her.
So sad. She walked around with this melancholy face for about 2 weeks.
Grandma Beck took her to a lot of parks to lift her spirits.
Rappleye Girls
Aren't they the cutest?? Love them.
Vienna's first bath
My Grandma Ber's trademark fruit basket for the new mom. Nice to have a piece of her.
Cambry "helping" Grandma Beck type
We got to meet up with Uncle Lindz and Aunt Lil for Lil's Birthday dinner. It's always so great to see them.
Cambry loved the mud pie
Uncle Lindz held Vienna the whole dinner. I could literally see the stress of a mission president just melt off of him as he held this new little essence of purity and innocence.
What do you think Cambry? Are you going to like her?
My girls holding hands. So precious. Cambry actually is warming up to Vienna a lot more now that she's figured out how to give her high five and bones, and she can find Vienna's eyes, ears, nose, etc. Today she did her first protective big sister act. I was on the floor tickling Cambry. Vienna started crying on the couch and Cambry slapped my hands away, stood up, rushed over to Vienna and looked at me like, "Well? Aren't you going to help her??"
Another thing I forgot about newborns is the umbilical cord cleaning.
Cambers is always making us laugh. I wish I could know what she was thinking... "I wonder how much of myself I can fit in this bucket"
C disappeared for a few minutes. When Devin finally found her she had unrolled an entire roll of toilet paper, threw maxi pads all over the place, and pulled some of the laundry out... oh wait, that's just me having bad aim. Devin and I are having a hard time keeping straight faces when she does things that are so funny, but we're working hard not to encourage this kind of behavior.

Vienna's first time at the park... Not sure if she liked it or not, she just stayed on this bench the whole time. haha
I think this is where she lets everything go. She wasn't ready to get out of the swing until she was almost asleep. She's had a lot on her plate as of late.
I love this pic. Curler, costume skirt, caught shaking and peeking in the bassinet

I love all the pictures, Joslyn. Your family is adorable!
ReplyDeleteLibby also likes to play with toilet paper and feminine products! I know I shouldn't encourage it, but sometimes when I'm getting ready in the bathroom and she is being clingy, I give her a tampon to play with. ;)
Such a good post! Ive been waiting for something like this...we should seriously try this time to web cam...so sorry-things have been a bit busy with Jakes schedule...seriously see you soon???
