We love the Zoo!

Geez!  This zoo is so fantastic! We love it- the animals are so active, our girls get so excited to see the animals that are in 80% of all children's books.

Cambers spotting the turtles in the zebra pond

7 of these giraffes started trotting around.  I don't know who was more excited to see them run- me or Cambry.

What? Isn't holding onto your child's knit dress on top of the cement wall the same as keeping them on the ground behind the railing?

After the giraffes did their spontaneous show for us, the zebras followed right behind them for a friendly stampede.  We were so lucky!!

These girls' eyes were glued on the giraffe/zebra performance.

C is so awesome at making the elephant noise- someone told us she could be a trumpet player protege... random.

Cambers decided her zoo rock collection went well on the ant eaters's back

This elephant safari helicopter was so fun to explore for our girls.

What a loaf! Love her

Playing in the giant eggs.

After the Madagascar movies, I love lemurs.

Cambers doing her best imitation.

Enjoying a good joke. Man, she loves her daddy.

Usually the lions are the laziest animals in the park, but we saw both the male and female walk around, stretch, and look menacing.

Cambers kept trying to scare the lions, the silly child. You see her saying "boo" in the first two pics.

Another successful day in controlled nature!

  1. Every time I go to a new zoo-I just get mad that the Hogle zoo is so crappy! We also went to the zoo this week-twinners:) Jealous of your stampede viewing!! That would be awesome! And I don't know which is more scary...you holding cambry by her dress so she doesn't fall in-or that you let your baby chew on a apple! Glad you all came out of the day alive and happy:)
