March Minutes

Our cute little boxer

Happy Birthday to Joslyn--a fruit pizza after a hot yoga session. For some reason, this is the only picture from her birthday. Oh yeah, we were still recovering from our Disneyland trip. We're so glad to have you as a mom and wife.

Myla warming up to Brinton in the bath. Doesn't B's head looks detached in this photo?

Pants are optional. Myla's favorite part of potty training.

First visit to the dentist. She couldn't take her eyes off the TV on the ceiling.

Potty training Myla-style, doing it wherever and however she wants.

We had Jordan, Margaret, Colby and Jesaica over for Pii Day. The kids got busy doing dress up while the parents visited. Gweny got completely lost in the costumes.

We got to witness the sealing of Owen (Booga) to Jarom and Christy's family. We admire them for making room in their hearts and home for this baby who so desperately needed loving parents. It was a precious experience.

Speaking of precious...

I got to hang out with her friends from her Vienna (the country, not the child) study abroad. We all met 8 years ago. It was so awesome to reconnect and see who all these wonderful women are becoming.

Myla started to fight naps so hard, but still needed them. Her fight was so strong though that she would only fall asleep if strapped down.

My cousin, Spencer, got married in March. We went to their reception to celebrate with them.

Throwing the bouquet.

It was a fun dance after the reception. The girls especially loved dancing with grandpa.

One of Brinton's first smiles. 😍

March weather was so perfect. We went for a hike one Saturday with Jess, Rylee and Mimi.

One of our kids favorite things about hiking kids that the trail is like a really long sandbox.

...and of course collecting rocks is a nice perk too.

We were there too! So was Brinton under the ergo-baby

We celebrated Joslyn's birthday with my family a little late. We did a sibling date with dinner at Blue Lemon and dessert at Waffle Love. It was lots of fun.

Got a kibbie (skittle) for using the potty.

Veena protecting her cousin Mimi from the snow monster in Frozen.

Such a big smile under that beard!

She did it! Unfortunately, as soon as she figured out how to use the potty, she got bored with it and stopped trying.

This is the traveling Easter Decoration that is in a new spot every 30 minutes. It's always a surprise to see where it ends up.

Happy Easter!!

The Easter Bunny is getting really tricky at hiding the baskets!

Myla is full of surprises and keeps us laughing, like somehow maneuvering this bounce seat into Brinton's crib and climbing aboard it for a nice relaxing rest.

Dying easter eggs!

Lots of purples and pinks and sparkles with this lot.

Devin's mom gave us the outfit Devin was blessed in as a baby... Brinton is beefing up so much, it's just a bit snug.

Happy Easter pic. Cambry's a good sport holding a screaming baby for a pic.

The egg roll at Grandma Beck's with all the Airharts and my mom's sister Heidi and her crew. It's hard to trash talk to sensitive little kids. so we tried to keep it at a minimum.

Unfortunately, we did not take home the trophy.

Myla on the other hand...

won the big 1st place!!

Grandma Rappleye had her big egg hunt the day after Easter. It's like Halloween and Christmas combined- kind of a big deal around here

Everyone getting instructions

It was cold and rainy, so we had the egg hunt indoors this year.

CHAOS!

The little girls had their egg hunt upstairs so they wouldn't get trampled in the mad dash

Shortly after Easter, Cambry bit into her Chocolate Bunny, and it bit her back! She lost her first tooth in there!!

Just some sisterly love

"Mom, We're making art on the trampoline!"
Can't argue with that!

Sometimes I find Myla in the goofiest places. I guess she just needs a little alone time, and when you share a room with your sisters, you resort to a small cardboard box.

Devin took a trip out to Boston for a job interview, and got to see a little bit of the city too.
