Airhart Reunion - Day 4: Manteo and More

We took it easy in the morning on Wednesday. Cambry and I swam in the pool (and froze). While Joslyn and Vienna chilled in the hot tub.

Look at how happy Veena Bug is to be in that hot tub.

We went to check out this lighthouse close by, only to find it all caged up.

Some of the Airharts went down to check out a lighthouse further down the coast. While we went to downtown Manteo with Jake and Missy and their kids. This place is a gem. Joslyn said it reminder her of Halstadt.

We saw this sweet boat across the bay and went to get a closer look.

Jake pulled out one of the flags and waived it. Of course, our little flag lover wanted a turn waiving it around.

We made it to the other side, but didn't see the boat. We did find this gravel pit where fossils were supposedly buried. We didn't find one, but Cambry found plenty of rocks. So it worked out well for her.

The day ended with another beach run and boogie boarding. The waves were huge all week. Any of them offered a sweet ride, if you were able to hold on.
