This cabin really was so perfect. We didn't have to go anywhere to be entertained, really. Plenty of exploring in and around the house. With Grandma Beck's help, C and V set up a little fort in the front room, that Myla and Andrew loved visiting.
Grandma Beck set up a super fun obstacle course for the grand kids, where they got to race each other, and try to beat their own fastest times. Great entertainment!

C and V learned how to fish in this little pond. Since Devin doesn't really fish, it was a great blind leading the blind experience that they all really enjoyed.
Those little rubber fishes stayed on the ends of the lines the whole time (instead of an actual hook with bait), and they had such a great time casting and reeling in their fish. Myla was an excellent cheerleader!
After months of me trying to get Vienna to pump on the swings, Cambry coached her a few minutes of technique and she is now an official swing pumper. She was so pleased with herself she was found on the swings in most of her free time after that, telling anyone that would listen that Cambry taught her how to swing. I love their close bond they have with each other!
Towards the end of the week we found some awesome forts in the meadows around the cabin (Veena super excited to find a swing to show off her new talent some more).
Cambry had some relaxing time resting in the swiss family robinson fort, equipped with a very decent hammock.
We had issues warming up the hot tub, but super man Devin finally figured it out, and he and many others thoroughly enjoyed their hot soakings on those brisk evenings.
Meanwhile, inside Myla, Rylee and Mimi had the time of their lives on the mattress slide. Anything goes at the cabin that's only ours for the week, right toddlers?
hmm, when I put this pic on this post, I thought this was me, but it's obviously Jamey and I'm too lazy to find one of me- just picture a girl with half this talent out there, and you've got my pic. Some of the Airharts went for an adult ski one evening. It was beautiful and fun to be out on the lake with such great skiers.
It was a gorgeous night and the full moon came up over the hill to cap the beauty.
Michelle and Scarlett were great support.
