Oh this was a morning I hope to always remember. I accidentally left the pantry door open for 2 minutes. Myla climbed up the shelves and found the syrup. She has a special talent for opening things quickly. VERY quickly. I found her just after she dumped the nearly full bottle all over the kitchen floor and herself. She was so pleased with herself and I was so angry. After bathing her and mopping the floor (twice) it was 10am and time to start the morning... again. I was about to dress Myla (again) when I found she just finished pulling everything within her reach out of the front closet, and was so distraught that she couldn't get this rain jacket to work properly. Before my frustration peaked, I had a tender mercy and saw her through God's eyes as an extremely active and curious toddler that is in need of love, kindness and opportunities to explore. Oh how I love my little energizer bunny.
One afternoon just after Myla woke up from her nap, I realized there was no reason to home in the evening- so we quickly got our shoes and snacks together and spent the rest of the day at Lagoon. What a fun time we had just all the girls!
Cambry begs every time we go to Lagoon to ride this sky ride that is a chairlift across the park. I didn't actually think they'd let us all fit in on chair, but we got lucky. We all squeezed in and Cambry's wish came true.
Cambers being brave so Veena could have a friend to keep her company on V's favorite roller coaster.
We were happy as could be to stop by in and out on our way home. We don't go out to eat much (it's no wonder- look at Myla throwing stuff down there), so this was a pretty exciting for these little guys. I think they were more excited about the hats and stickers than the food though.
Cambry and I read about fairy gardens together in May, and I've been so tired growing this fetus that I just couldn't get myself to to make it with her. I asked my mom for help, and about 24 hours later she tells me she has all this stuff to make it.Jess and her girls jumped in on the fun. Thank heavens for fantastic grandmas!!
My neighbor that lives across the street has kids that are around my kids' ages and we all get along so well. Her husband was out of town the same time as Devin so one night we got pizzas and took them to the park for a fun evening of favorite food with favorite people, playing on their favorite playground.
