Cambry loves matching, so this game is great for her- just paint color squares and clothes pins
The girls were being so goofy, making a Sunday morning scripture ride on dad's ankles
Devin took a particular liking to a magnolia tree in our yard, but it was shaded by a 30 foot maple. The growing conditions didn't satisfy Devin, so he and the neighbor chopped it down. We just thought that process involved a chain saw guy and a guy to push the tree in the right direction. Rookies. Fortunately Bruce knew better and set up a pulley system with ropes and ladders for a successful experience.
The manly men
The kids had a great time playing in the jungle of limbs and leaves for a bit until Devin sawed it into bite size pieces.
Later that day we went to the Apex Peak Fest, a street party in downtown Apex. Vienna and I had a great time dancing to the Christian Rock band. Cambers was really scared of the noise and crowds.
They both loved the Elmo and Cookie monster little party at the children's corner. (side note: Cambry LOVES that purple head band and is constantly putting it on her head after I finish doing her hair).
They enjoyed some stamps arts and crafts on the paper and their bodies
This game was a hit with both of them... and somehow when we got home we ended up with one of those stars! Whoops!
They all loved the softer blue grass band and danced their little hearts out. Fun times at the street fair.
Looks like fun! These posts are making me sad for you guys that you have to say good bye to so many great people and great things. But I am still excited that you guys get to go live in Utah too for a bit!
ReplyDeleteMen and their power tools (or should I say toys?). Reminds me of Devin's man camping days. And the time we helped chop down a tree in Grandma and Grandpa Rappleye's backyard. Did you help with that, Devin?
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's why I thought it would be so easy. I thought if a couple a kids could cut down a tree than my neighbor and I certainly could.
