Our first zoo trip 2013. We were really lucky to go on an overcast day in the 60's, so the animals were the most active we've ever seen. Both the girls are fascinated with the whole experience, which makes it a blast for me and Devin too :)
The ostriches, zebras and giraffes are all in the same exhibit. They seemed to be performing in turns, because first all the ostriches scampered over to us, then a heard of giraffes trotted by and munched on tall branches, and lastly the zebras. We were all so enthralled.

The Aviary is always a hit- hot, humid, tropical plants and birds. Heaven.
The air vents never get old. The girls threw leaves on them and giggled so hard together when the leaves fluttered up in the air.
Triplets!
We got to the elephants during feeding time so 3 of them were 10 yards away! The one on the right folds his trunk up to his forehead and waves the end of it before the trainer throws him a carrot. It was so cute!
